A complicated interpretation of a therapeutic effect with humanized mice using a novel peptide platform
Abstract
In the article “Systemic delivery of tumor-targeted Bax-derived membrane-active peptides for the treatment of melanoma tumors in a humanized SCID mouse model”, Karageorgis and colleagues, cyclic RGD conjugated apoptosis-inducing peptide platform strongly inhibited the growth of melanoma tumors in humanized SCID mouse model (1).
